Dr Ross Honeywill

is an internationally recognised social scientist and author specialising in the research and application of  Social Intelligence. His focus is on the understanding of social intelligence to generate revenue growth and shareholder value, and on developing transformation tools for the workplace. His books have been published on 3 continents with his most recent North American book an Amazon top-100 bestseller in the business/consumer category.

Ross Honeywill has a PhD from the University of Tasmania and is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the university’s School of Business & Economics.

Dr Honeywill applies social intelligence theory to the everyday challenges of the business world. He has spent 15 years measuring and mapping the impact of social intelligence on the future of entrepreneurs and management.

Through his leadership role at KPMG (Asia/Pacific) and his subsequent work, Dr Honeywill has provided strategic guidance to global and national brands including Qantas, Telstra, David Jones, Lexus, Sony, Westpac Broking, Moët-Hennessy, National Australia Bank, Yahoo!, Fosters, Macquarie Bank, Energex, TXU Energy among others.

He is particularly engaged in the application of social intelligence strategies to entrepreneurs, founder/owners and startups. He works predominantly in Asia/Pacific and North America.

Dr Honeywill is a board member of Melbourne University’s Social Equity Institute and is a former board member of the Melbourne International Film Festival, Chairman of Judges for the 2013 Tasmanian Literary Awards, and former chairman of Tasmania’s Festival of Voices.
